We are currently hiring for a licensed veterinary technician.
As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting Dr. Crouch in providing medical care to animals. Your responsibilities will include supporting the veterinary team in various tasks related to animal care and treatment.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Provide compassionate care to animals before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the clinic or hospital environment
- Handle and restrain animals safely during procedures
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment protocols
*Skills*
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for maintaining sterile conditions
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices
- Strong understanding of animal physiology and anatomy
- Ability to handle and restrain various animals safely
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Experience in animal care and pet handling
- Understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
