The Western Region Consolidated Business Office provides business office services including: billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance and customer service to our affiliated UHS facilities. We are seeking dynamic and talented individuals to join our team.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing all activities relating to monitoring, interpreting, and appealing denials received from Third Party Payers and ensuring accuracy in patient billing.
Education:
RN licensure in good standing is required. BSN degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of at least 3- 5 years of healthcare business office experience preferred.
Experience with technical denials or business office operations required. Relevant education may substitute for experience.
CPC,CCS or other coding credentials preferred but not required
Other:
Successful record of accomplishment in auditing and strategic A/R reduction. Strong working relationships with Case Management, patients and Payers are required.
Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency to include work processing, spreadsheet, database, and patient accounting system. Excellent Customer Service skills required as well as good written/oral communication skills.
