Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of outpatient/inpatient scheduling or registration experience for acute care hospitals/facilities and one year in a leadership role.
Other:
- Possesses knowledge of third-party payers and insurance verification requirements
- Knowledge of scheduling requirements and regulations
- Knowledge of the legal and technical aspects of scheduling and third-party insurance
- Must have knowledge of Medicare rules, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Must have knowledge of PC and programs necessary for patient scheduling
- In depth knowledge of registration procedures
- Strong verbal and written communications skills required.
- Ability to prioritize and perform work in an organized, efficient, and effective manner without constant supervision and direction.
- Organization, communication, management, and interpersonal skills are required.
