What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team.
You will help transform our software and processes to efficiently and consistently deploy in a reliable and secure fashion. You will leverage industry best practices to deliver a scalable and compliant path to production and will operate as part of a team that maintains existing services and processes.

What will you do?
- Build highly scalable, reliable CI/CD processes for our carbon registry and auction platforms.
- Work closely with the development teams to create automation strategies for deployment, self-testing, and alerting.
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions tailored to address specific operational, compliance, and pipeline issues.
- Drive continuous delivery of software, resolve incidents, and run incident post-mortems.
- Provide feedback on engineering architecture decisions and automate repetitive operational tasks.
- Help improve our deployment procedures to make them more efficient.
- Enhance documentation and processes related to DevOps efforts.
- Ensure that all aspects of our infrastructure meet and maintain compliance standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest guidelines and integrate them into our operational practices.
- Mentor more junior team members professionally to help them realize their full potential
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
- 5 years of experience in SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering for SaaS products.
- 3 years of experience in running software operations.
- 2 years of experience in leading design and architecture of cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred experience inside a heavily regulated environment.
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure deployments. AWS is preferred, good knowledge of serverless deployments (Lambda, Fargate) is a plus.
- Experience in leveraging Bash scripting.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Familiar with IaaC and DevOps tools like Pulumi or Terraform.
- Familiar with CI / CD using any of GitHub Actions, Gitlab Pipelines, Travis, CircleCI, Spinnaker, or Buildkite.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies like blue green, rolling deploys, canary deploys and best practices around deployment automation (with tools like shipit or spinnaker) is desired.
- Demonstrated professional experience working in at least 1 main programming language (JavaScript, Typescript, Python, Go, Ruby, etc.).
- Familiarity with SecOps and Compliance processes is desired.
- Proficiency in Docker for building, deploying, and managing containers.
- Experience with Docker Compose to orchestrate multi-container applications.
- Keeping a pulse on the latest cloud technology trends and Open Source.
Travel
The Staff DevOps Engineer may need to travel for specific and well-defined business purposes.
