Job Summary:
Welcome to the Western Colorado University team, where you'll have the opportunity to lead a residence hall complex and foster a supportive community for students.
This full-time position is a great fit for someone who is passionate about student development and has excellent leadership skills. As the Resident Director, you will oversee all aspects of a residence hall complex, including community development, student staff supervision, and policy enforcement. You will work closely with Residence Life's Associate Directors to ensure a seamless experience for residents.
We're looking for a highly organized individual with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. If you have a Bachelor's degree and significant student leadership experience in a college/university setting, we'd love to hear from you. A Master's degree in Student Affairs/Higher Education or a related field is also preferred.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will be comfortable working some evenings and weekends, and will have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
