The Role:
The BC Associate Consultant plays an important role in supporting customers in implementing the heart of their business. This role will be integral in improving processes, streamlining systems with respect to domain of focus, and can translate tech speak into human speak. This role will be working with our clients to optimize operations, configure systems, and keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Clients
- Work directly with our clients’ teams to understand their unique business needs and pain points.
System Configuration & Customization
- Configure ERP systems with respect to area of focus.
- Customize reports to fit each client’s business model, ensuring smooth integrations.
End-to-End Implementation
- Assist in the implementation of modules from start to finish—this includes everything from initial scoping, system setup, testing, and go-live support
- Ensure the system is not just running, but exceeding expectations.
Process Optimization
- Analyze existing operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Propose solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Training & Support
- Provide training sessions for client teams to ensure they are comfortable and confident using their new systems.
- Offer ongoing support to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and optimize system performance as the business grows.
Data Migration & Integrity
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the process and beyond.
Project Management
- Work closely with the project manager to ensure deadlines are being met, hours allocation for tasks are within your abilities, and client satisfaction remains high.
Stay on the Cutting Edge
- Continuously monitor updates and new features in Business Central and areas of focus.
- Expand knowledge across ERP trends and advancements, always looking for ways to improve our offerings.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with other consultants and departments to ensure seamless integration across all business functions.
Qualifications:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a finance/accounting role using Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central or 1 year of experience as an Associate Consultant, or similar role, implementing or assisting in the implementation of NAV or Business Central finance modules.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Business Central certifications are an asset.
- Comfortable interfacing with end-users and understanding business processes.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and articulate how BC can add value to their business.
- Experience coordinating or participating in full cycle BC implementations.
- Ability to work and communicate successfully both in person and remote.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- Background or experience in Information Technology, Software, Finance, Distribution, and/or Manufacturing.
- Prior consulting experience preferred but not required.
