Western Dairyland EOC Inc, is hiring a full-time Weatherization Construction Worker.
As an integral part of the Weatherization Department, the Weatherization Construction Worker assist in the installation of energy conservation measures and structural rehabilitation under the direction of the Production Manager. The Construction Worker provides department support in actual hands-on capacity and to be an important liaison between the agency , the clientele, and the general public.
The starting wage for this position is $20.05 to 25.06 per hour and may be negotiable based on experience. This is a full-time, 36 hour per week position, working Monday through Thursday from 7:30am until 5:00pm. This position will be based out of our Pigeon Falls location.
Essential Functions:
- Assist supervisor with accountability for all weatherization and/or construction materials both on site and truck stock.
- Ensure the timely completion of weatherization and construction tasks as assigned to the crew and the compliance with state application standards.
- In absence of the supervisor coordinate scheduling of weatherization work with clients.
- Assist supervisor with use of technical evaluation tools to evaluate and perform energy conservation weatherization measures on existing housing structure to include but not limited to constructing distribution systems; Insulating attics and sidewalls, hanging doors and windows in existing openings
- Air sealing, weather stripping
- Dryer vents and bathroom vent installation
- Other duties as instructed

Equipment Skills:
- Must be knowledgeable in the operation of but not limited to Minnesota Blower Door, insulation blowing machines, circular saws, cut saws, routers, drills, and other job-related power and hand tools.
Education and/or Experience:
- Must have a minimum two year practical experience or credited education through Technical College.
Licenses, Certifications, Authorizations Required:
- Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation
- Must have an insured vehicle
- Must meet Western Dairyland’s insurability requirements
- Lead Safe Weatherization Worker certification
- Asbestos Operations and Maintenance
- Other trainings as required
