Position Description
Adjunct instructors at Western Dakota Tech are educators whose instructional efforts are expected to reflect the mission, vision, and goals of the institution. Adjunct faculty teach courses in their respective fields to include planning, preparation and delivery of lecture / lab instruction materials at all levels of training.

Adjuncts are paid dependent on their educational degree. Pay is as follows :
- MA / MS - $800 per workload credit hour
- Doctorate - $1,000 per workload credit hour
- All degrees must be awarded by an accredited institution
Position Essential Duties
Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of their field or discipline.
Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return student work promptly to promote maximum learning.
Teach classes as assigned and in accordance with the catalog description, the master syllabus, the stipulations of WDT, and the interests of industry.
Act in a professional manner as delineated in the South Dakota Code of Professional Ethics for Teachers (Appendix B).
