Key Responsibilities:
- Take direction from doctors and/or hygienists, assist them with dental procedures, and anticipate their needs.
- Prepare high-quality radiographs, review patient charts, and log relevant data and health history.
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory spaces according to organizational procedures and guidelines.
- Partner with doctors, hygienists, operations leaders, and support staff to maintain excellent patient service and integrity.
- Assist front office staff with scheduling follow-up visits and tracking lab cases.
- Monitor dental supplies levels, order using approved formulary when assigned by Operations Leader.
- Follow organizational safety policies and procedures, adhering to OSHA compliance and BBP federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Current radiography certification required
- Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including conflict resolution
- Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs as required
