CK Power is looking for an experienced Field Service Generator Technician at our Dallas-Fort Worth-area location. In this position you will support customers by performing maintenance, diagnostic, and repair operations on power generation units. You will be issued a company-owned truck you can take home!
The Field Service Generator Technician will:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Manage all aspects of critical power systems installation, start-up, and commissioning. Oversee correction of issues arising from commissioning.
- Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on all systems including PLCs, AC/DC, and switch gears.
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on electric power generation equipment, including gas and diesel engines, generators, and transfer switches.
- Coordinate with installing electrical contractors.
- Participate in an On-Call rotation.
The Field Service Generator Technician needs :
- 10 years' minimum experience with diesel power generation.
- AAS Electrical Power Generator Technician certification or graduation from a technical school.
- Computer literacy.
- Self-directed mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) certification a plus.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with overtime as needed.
- Willingness and ability to be On-Call.
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight as needed.
