CK Power is looking for a Shop Service Technician at our Oklahoma City location. The Shop Service Technician is responsible for providing customers with the highest quality service possible in an efficient and timely manner. You will perform scheduled and emergency installation, maintenance, and repair.
The Shop Service Technician will:
- Diagnose and complete complex and routine installation, maintenance, or repairs to customer equipment and components.
- Apply the use of specialized tools and follow documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
- Perform diagnostic and repair activities per original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards on axles, transmissions, and gearboxes. You will also do repair work on construction equipment and diesel engines, as well as hydraulic systems and components.
- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or CK Power / Customer business systems.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and report any issues / incidents to site management and to direct supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all CK Power policies and procedures.
- Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
- Occasionally support Field Service Technicians with field service work.
The Shop Service Technician needs:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability on construction equipment, axles, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulics, and diesel and natural gas engines and generators.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with construction equipment, powertrain components, hydraulic systems and components, and diesel and natural gas engines and generators
- Engine rebuild experience.
- Experience with electrical switch gear and automatic transfer switches.
- Experience work with diagnostic computers for trouble shooting repairs.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-directed and resourceful mindset. Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to provide own hand tools and appropriate storage.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
