RMPT is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Associate at our Brighton, CO location. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations in our warehouse, including receiving shipments, handling inventory, and preparing items for shipment. The ideal candidate will also be required to occasionally drive to transport goods to designated locations.
What You’ll Do:
Shipping & Receiving:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Record and log inventory, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and ensuring timely dispatch.
- Maintain shipping logs and documentation for tracking purposes.
Warehouse Operations:
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in an efficient and accessible manner.
- Assist in stock replenishment and restocking as needed.
- Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following warehouse safety protocols.
Driving & Delivery:
- Occasionally drive a company vehicle to deliver or pick up goods as directed.
- Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely and safe manner.
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries when needed.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse, shipping & receiving, or similar roles preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
