Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global indirect tax strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Oversee indirect tax compliance and reporting across all jurisdictions to ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Monitor and interpret evolving indirect tax laws, regulations, and policies, advising leadership on potential impacts.
- Manage tax audits, disputes, and inquiries from tax authorities, minimizing financial and reputational risks.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and IT teams to optimize tax reporting processes and enhance efficiency through automation and technology solutions, including E-Reporting, E-Invoicing, and ERP implementation.
- Provide strategic guidance on tax-efficient supply chain structuring, business expansions, and cross-border transactions.
- Establish and maintain indirect tax governance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of indirect tax professionals.
- Engage with external advisors, industry groups, and tax authorities to stay ahead of regulatory changes and emerging trends.
