What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior IT Manager position at Western Digital?
As a Senior IT Manager at Western Digital, you will own and drive SAP and Oracle Cloud solutions to support enterprise applications in Procure to Pay business function. This role requires strong leadership skills to work individually or alongside functional architects and analysts to design and implement SAP and/or Oracle Cloud ERP solutions that meet business requirements and enrich user experience.
Determine the optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, operational perspectives. Ensure integrity of all solutions in the Procure to Pay space through appropriate testing and quality assurance practices. Work with senior business leaders to facilitate the business strategy with technology by developing a deep understanding of strategy, process, and business needs.
Host and drive interactive working sessions with business stakeholders to achieve solution alignment such as blueprinting, business confirmation, or testing workshops. Assist with prioritization of demand items in the P2P space and develop mentor junior team members. Evaluate new technology and make relevant users requirement documents; translate business needs into system dimensions and provide relevant solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures. Qualifications include Bachelor's or Master's degree with > 10 years working experience in STP modules support, minimum 15 years practical experience in either SAP functional solution design and delivery or any other major ERP solution, and minimum 3 years in a senior lead role either directly or indirectly leading a team of SAP professionals or any other leading ERP professionals.
