What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer 2025 HAMR Materials Modeling Simulation PhD Intern PhD Only position at Western Digital?
As a Materials Development Intern you will be responsible for the following :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Molecular Dynamics modeling of diffusion of materials of interest for HAMR devices focusing on NFT and NFT adhesion materials under the supervision of a senior materials development engineer
- Analyze data and suggest further experiments
- Use your unique education and talents to advance materials understanding for HAMR Technology
