What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP Strategy and Transformation position at Western Digital?
The Vice President Transformation will partner with the corporate leadership team and lead transformation initiatives across the organization. The primary responsibility it to lead the Western Digital transformation program to accelerate innovation drive efficiencies modernize the way we operate and to secure our competitive advantage. Further the leader will also partner with the Chief Strategy Officer to evaluate strategic growth alternatives including : mergers acquisitions divestitures license agreements and strategic investments that support the companys overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up transformation
Lead the transformation office and build a matrixed team of workstream leads. Make daytoday transformation program level decisions track results and coordinate governance process
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to execute the company wide transformation program
Track initiative progress to create transparency and enable better faster decisionmaking and results predictability.
Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including the strategy and corporate development team and the initiative owners of the transformation program.
