Responsibilities- Supervise milling operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety protocols
- Lead and manage the milling crew, providing training, support, and performance oversight
- Conduct site assessments to determine necessary milling techniques and equipment required
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to prevent downtime
- Work with project managers to establish schedules and allocate resources effectively
- Ensure clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members regarding project progress
- Implement best practices and improve workflows to enhance productivity and quality
- Document and report any safety incidents or operational issues to management.
- Extensive experience as a Milling Foreman or in a similar position within the construction sector
- Strong understanding of milling processes, machinery, and safety regulations
- Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong communication ability
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Physical ability to work in outdoor environments and handle machinery
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
