What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foreman - Underground position at WESTERN ENGINEERING CONTRACTORS INC?
General Summary : Western Engineering Contractors Inc. is seeking a qualified Foreman for our Underground Division for full-time employment. Emphasis for the position will be on meeting the project quality and production requirements to satisfy customer expectations while operating within budget allowances. Projects will include new construction, removal, and replacement projects. Western Engineering is a local contractor based in Loomis and performs work in the greater Sacramento area and surrounding foothills. Western Engineering is a reputable company rooted in the industry for over 40 years.
Essential Functions :
- Supervises, coordinates, and works with grading construction crews on projects consisting of major site work and miscellaneous other construction work.
- Will coordinate personnel, trucking, material suppliers, and safety.
Education Requirements : High school diploma required.
Experience Requirements : 3 or more years as an Underground Foreman.
