What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Analyst II position at WESTERN EQUIPMENT FINANCE?
The Credit Analyst II is responsible for working with the Credit Department and Sales Department to evaluate and underwrite small-ticket transactions. This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing customer credit information, making credit decisions within assigned credit authority, and consistent with the organization's vision, core values, and team guidelines.
Underwriting
Investigate, evaluate and underwrite small-ticket transactions in accordance with credit policies and guidelines, program structure, and delegated credit authority. Evaluate commercial and consumer credit reports, analyze tax returns and financial statements, and review other sources to determine the customers' credit capacity. Professionally communicate decisions to Business Development Managers and vendors.
Relationship Maintenance
Work closely across departments to develop, structure, and document commercial transactions. Perform limited Annual Reviews on existing customer relationships. Oversee modifications or changes within a credit profile. Contribute to review of Vendor Profiles. Support of administrative contracts. Aid with development, refinement, and maintenance of department processes and reporting.
Exception Resolution
Research in resolving technical exceptions to credit policy determined by both internal and external parties.
Special Projects
Assist with special projects. Special projects will vary based on workload, organizational priorities, and identified initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business –related field required. Four years demonstrated progressive experience in a related field may be substituted for degree requirement.
This is a full-time position with benefits.
Starting Salary Range: $52,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year. This is an exempt, salaried position. Note: This range represents our good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
