Job Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of a power generating plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The Control Room Operator will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the operation of the power plant, including boilers, turbines, generators, and related equipment. This will involve coordinating with other teams, such as the Auxiliary Operator and WFEC System Operators, to ensure seamless plant operations.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of power plant operations, including the steam water cycle, basic electricity, hydraulics, and fluid and gas properties. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
