Every product undergoes a rigorous, sophisticated monitoring and quality assurance program, from heat treatment to testing to the final inspection. Additionally, Western is in full compliance with outlined ASME, PED, ISO, and TSSA standards, a distinction held by only a handful of forging providers in the United States.We are looking for a well experienced Maintenance Manager to join our great company.Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the plant’s maintenance program to provide reliable, capable equipment and supporting infrastructure to the production process.For this position, day-to-day responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to :
- Responsible for managing the maintenance, services and repairs of plant equipment, building, facilities and department staff.
- Design appropriate plant preventive maintenance programs to reduce all downtime and coordinate with maintenance team for its implementation.
- Evaluate equipment performance and repot recommendations to managers for reconditioning or replacement of substandard machines.
- Perform skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, computerized, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Collaborate with forge shop manager to design / improve forge die’s and equipment.
- Collaborate with managers to design / improve proprietary machines and activities.
- Analyze all equipment requirements and maintain necessary inventory on spares, tools, and equipment.
- Resolve all maintenance issues and recommend improvements as required.
- Negotiates with and oversees the contracting works and capital improvement projects.
- Review and maintain documents, records of all maintenance activities and projects.
- Implement and maintain an efficient and safe working environment for all employees.Desired Requirements
- Must have excellent written, negotiation, presentation, communication and time management skills.
- Proficiency with computer programs, including interpreting AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to manage and motive a team to achieve towards common goals in a timely and constructive manner.
- Ability to prioritizes urgent projects and embraces a fast-paced, multi-tasking and challenging work environment.
