Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula tailored to the needs of students.
- Teach music theory, history, and performance techniques in both group and individual settings.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance instructional delivery and track student progress.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate diverse teaching methods, including technology and hands-on activities.
- Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other educators to support students with autism and diverse learning needs.
- Provide academic advising to students regarding their musical education and career paths.
- Organize and lead school performances, recitals, and other musical events.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and respect.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development for music programs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and teaching strategies for preschool through private school settings.
- Proficiency in using learning technology to enhance student engagement.
- Previous experience working with students with autism or special educational needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
