Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our small metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a brake press machine using air bending techniques, ensuring accurate and precise metal part fabrication. This role also includes quality inspection and assisting in general labor throughout the shop.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and set up brake press machines for air bending metal components according to job specifications and blueprints.
- Check dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure accuracy.
- Perform regular quality checks and adjustments to maintain production standards.
- Assist with general shop labor, including material handling, part preparation, and machine maintenance as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
