Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our small metal fabrication team. This position involves manual labor tasks such as material handling, assisting with machinery operations, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of experienced operators and contribute to daily production needs. Key Responsibilities : Perform material handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials and finished products. Assist operators with operating machinery, including brake presses, CNC punches, and laser beds under proper guidance. Support general shop labor needs, such as part preparation, cleaning, and organization. Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications : Prior experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting preferred but not required. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Willingness to learn and assist with operating various machinery. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
