Director of Nuring (DON) Responsibilities Ensures quality resident care is consistently delivered in accordance with all local, state and federal guidelines Partners with the Human Resources on recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation, training for the C.N.A.s, C.M.A.s, and Nurses. Collaborates and partners with physicians, pharmacy and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for our residents Ensures compliance, efficiency and team’s understanding of policies and procedures Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse Maintains a current/unencumbered RN license in the state Quality assurance/improvement and staff development experience The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position Exhibit good time management and organization skills Possess the ability to handle complex issues Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills Strive for excellence in all aspects of the job Work with integrity in all interactions
