Full-Time Occupational Therapist

Western Home Communities is excited to invite a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our compassionate, collaborative, and mission-driven team. You’ll work closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, primarily serving adult and geriatric populations within our continuum of care environment. Responsibilities:  Participates in the evaluation, care plan development and delivery of occupational therapy treatment interventions and services, in accordance with state practice guidelines Provides direct patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients Coordinates training programs for facility staff, patients, families and rehabilitation staff Provides appropriate supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants Requirements:  Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program Valid license or eligible for licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Iowa High level of communication skills, both verbal and written Effective leadership and customer relationship skills Ability to exercise mature judgement with initiative in analyzing and solving problems Benefits: (Full-time) Health, Dental and Vision Flexible PTO 401k Match Employee Assistance Program *Actual wage based on experience And much more!   If you feel like you, or someone you know, would be a good fit for this opportunity within Western Home Communities- we would love to talk!  Western Home Communities is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC).
