Requirements of an Accounts Receivable Billing Associate:
(Preferred) 2 year Accounting, Business, or Finance degree or equivalent
(Preferred) Prior experience working with accounts receivable and accounting reports
This role requires someone who can work quickly, efficiently, and under pressure to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
Prior experience working with accounts receivable and accounting reports
Proven organizational abilities and time management skills
Must be able to manage several projects simultaneously paying close attention to details
Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English
Responsibilities of an Accounts Receivable Billing Associate:
Review and analyze information to determine accuracy across platforms (PCC, IMPA)
Assist and support Medicaid team with follow up efforts to various agencies to ensure corrections/updates are completed
You will maintain an effective, organized, efficient system to track changes that are needed
Assist and support the Billing Team to prepare and submit accurate, complete statements of resident charges to appropriate payers
Process correspondence related to reimbursement in a courteous, timely and accurate manner
Assist in the application and continuation of the Medicaid process
Facilitate inquiries, reconsiderations and appeals to appropriate employees and payer sources, upon denial of a claim for any reason
