Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Employee will assist with the duties of the Program Director in their absence. This includes assistance in administering programming and services offered by the Center, as well as providing support and assistance to the office staff.

  • Communicates university and center policies in place of the Director.
  • Assists students in application procedures and ensures proper completion of forms.
  • Coordinates or assists in the coordination of events and activities.
  • Assists in tasks related to the delivery of programs and services.
  • Assist Director and office staff in supervision, mentoring, and direct specialized training programs for students.
  • Assist Director with record management including correspondence, marketing tools, budget and fiscal reports.
  • Assists office staff by performing clerical duties as assigned.
  • Assists the Director in recruitment and retention of veterans, service members and their family members.
  • Assists with the completion of reports and grant-writing efforts.

WORK LOCATION: Macomb campus

APPOINTMENT: As soon as possible

WAGE: $16.17/hour

Student Resources

More than 200 student organizations at Western provide social, academic, recreation, athletics, service, academic, and many other opportunities for students to grow and learn, develop leadership skills, and much more.

The University's athletics program, based on the Macomb campus, sponsors 17 NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's and women's varsity sports. All varsity sports compete at the Division I level through The Ohio Valley Conference.
