Summary
Part-time -approximately 20 hours per week M-F afternoons
In a safe and timely manner, clean and assist in maintenance procedures inside the facility and on the surrounding grounds in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and Agency and Head Start policies and procedures. High school graduate or equivalent required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Minimum of one year experience in general janitorial/housekeeping functions. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions relative to janitorial/housekeeping duties. Communicate effectively in both written and oral form. Work well with and without supervision, and with other staff. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds. Submit to the following at time of hire: Limited criminal history background check; Violent and Sexual Offender Registry background check; Drug Screen; TB Test, and annually thereafter; Physical, and annually thereafter; Possess, or obtain certification for CPR/First Aid.
