Job Purpose:
The Hydraulic Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing hydraulic systems and machinery while ensuring seamless integration with electrical and mechanical components. This role combines technical expertise with collaboration to deliver exceptional solutions.
As a Hydraulic Engineer your duties would be:
- Design hydraulic schematics in AutoCAD and 3D equipment layouts in Autodesk Inventor.
- Interpret and create detailed mechanical and hydraulic design drawings.
- Collaborate with the Electrical Engineering Team to integrate controls seamlessly.
- Work with sales teams and customers to develop proposals and quotes.
- Troubleshoot, test, and oversee field installations.
- Create submittals, training guides, and O&M manuals.
- Mentor junior engineers and support shop technicians.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and deliver exceptional results.
We are looking for a Hydraulic Engineer with the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5 years of Industrial Hydraulic design.
- Extensive knowledge of Fluid Power & Industrial Controls
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.
- Able to read and modify programs for PLCs, HMIs, and Valve Controllers.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent documentation, written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work independently or in a team environment with little to no supervision.
- Problem Solving skills required.
- Ability to interface with shop technicians and provide shop support as needed
