Manufacturing Apprentice – Cement Sole Craftsman

This role involves preparing soles, applying glue, pressing soles, and ensuring the welt is correctly attached to the sole, using various specialized tools and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keep a clean and organized workplace to handle various boot parts
• Review work orders to determine the type of sole needed
• Apply glue to boot components as instructed
• Firmly press welt and sole materials together
• Use specialized press machine to ensure welt and sole have completely bonded
• Check each boot for accuracy purposes
