Are you ready to join a team that provides compassionate care and support to clients? Western Mental Health Center, located in Marshall, MN, is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Mental Health Professional (MHP) works with a multidisciplinary team to provide services in individual, couple, family and group settings. The MHP provides counseling and crisis interventions services in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations including internal behavioral health policies & procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides individual, couple, family and group counseling, intake and assessment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, drop-in, and follow up services.
- Schedules, coordinates and manages an ongoing caseload
- Provides tools for regulating emotions, relationship building, social emotional skills and executive function development.
- Completes patient paperwork timely.
- Participates in staff meetings, consultations, case presentations and training programs
- Collaborate and communicate with community partners to ensure client needs are met.
- Other areas as determined by the center.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A minimum of a master’s degree in a behavior science field from an accredited University/College.
- Licensed or licensable in the State of Minnesota as a LP, LMFT, LICSW, LPCC, LPC, LAMFT, LGSW OR LISW.

LICENSURE SUPERVISION TRAINING:
WMHC provides Clinical Supervision from our Licensed Therapists as you work towards your license as a Therapist (LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT license) and we have staff to provide supervision necessary for the LADC license.
LOAN FORGIVENESS PROGRAMS:
If you are licensed or when you become licensed, WMHC is an NHSC approved facility for the National Health Service Corp. Loan Forgiveness Program. Fully licensed therapists are eligible to apply for the NHSC Loan Forgiveness Program.
