Job Summary
The Air Quality LDAR Representative position will be member of the Western Midstream (“WES”) Health, Safety, Environmental& Security (HSE&S) Team. This position is located in our office in The Woodlands, TX to provide leak detection and repair (LDAR) compliance program support for assets in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
Qualifications, Experience, and Expertise:
Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Environmental Science, Engineering, Science or industry related field. Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.
License / Certifications
Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.
Relocation
This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.
Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 25%.
Work Schedule
This position is eligible for the 5/40 work schedule or 9 hours Monday – Thursday and 4 hours on Friday.

Qualifications, Experience, and Expertise:
- Experience working within gas plant LDAR compliance programs, including experience completing tasks and projects to related to: LDAR database governance/standardization, equipment management of change administrative processes, and equipment inventory management.
- Minimum of 4 or more years of relevant experience.
- Proven Knowledge of state and federal regulatory LDAR requirements, including, NSPS OOOOa, VVa, OOOOb, and Texas 28 series.
- Ability to effectively communicate with operations/technical staff, management, other air quality professionals, and regulatory agency personnel.
- Operational experience including understanding of operational program processes and procedures, understanding of gas plant processes, equipment characteristics, and with demonstrated ability to understand gas plant P&IDs.
- Able to think strategically and propose and implement projects to reduce risk and streamline processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and LDAR databases, such as, Guideware® and SkyBridge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Gas plant LDAR compliance program development, improvement, and implementation, including:
- Ensuring applicability determinations are completed and working with other functional teams for awareness.
- Auditing compliance data and resolving action items.
- Implementing Consent Decree requirements.
- Reviewing and maintaining procedural documents and program management systems and identifying opportunities to update for better performance and implementation.
- Data management and recordkeeping.
- Program training; and
- Preparing and submitting compliance reports to regulatory agencies.
- Working closely with operations and other functional teams to promote a culture of partnership and accountability.
