Job Summary:
This position is a member of the Western Midstream’s Engineering & Construction Team in our Rockies region (DJ Basin, Powder River Basin, Southwest WY and Utah assets). Reporting office will be located in Longmont, CO. The position will assist OPS and engineering with performing maintenance in compression and process facilities. Will also require the execution and planning of facility turn-arounds and or optimization projects in a safe, environmentally sound, and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and enforce all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations
- Work with WES stakeholders to develop work plans and to define roles and responsibilities on individual projects. Manage third party inspection staff
- Follow WES Construction Specifications and Engineering Standards
- Ensure that all construction tasks required for turnover to operations are completed
- Facilitate all Project Kick Off meetings and PSSR’s for projects
- Monitor project budgetary expenditures
- Work closely with the facility stakeholders on projects and day to day executional matters as needed
- Attend PHA’s to provide construction level input to the engineering and operational teams
- Communicate with all stakeholders openly and honestly, complete weekly progress reporting to construction management
- Assist Operations team with oversight of contractor scheduling as needed
- Provide stakeholders with construction and production reports as required
- Work with HSE and Regulatory staff
- Develop synergies and shared responsibilities with all project stakeholders
- Report all spills/drips or safety hazards, gather and enter safety observations and incidents into the Intelex data collection system
- Train others associated with job duties
- Maintain a shared database for project information. Develop a program that can be utilize throughout the company for SOP’s
- Develop workplans specific to Facility turn-arounds and implement workplan into SOP’s

- Work with Ops team up to 6 months prior developing TAR schedules and individual task schedules
- Identify need for Simops workplans or High risk work plans
- Solicit qualified vendors
- Build BOM and solicit quotes
- Pre project walkdowns with all skill trades
- Project completions
- Act as project completions coordinator
- Facilitate the walkdown and completions list while holding the contractor accountable
- Finalize ITRs and project DFOs
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical principles, and familiarity with welding
- Ability to perform construction tasks
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft office suite)
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required
- Previous leadership experience required
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Candidates’ emphasis and focus will be facility construction (green and brownfield) with experience in TARs. Experience with the above will allow candidate to fallback when facility work is not as prevalent
- High School diploma or GED Required, with a preference for associate’s degree or Trade school qualifications
- Other related “applicable” professional certifications would supplement the educational criteria
- A valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required
- The percentage of travel required for this position is 50%
- This position will work a 9-80 work schedule. Monday through Friday, with half days on Friday
