At Western Milling, we are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Manufacturing Operator to join our production team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing food or animal feed, with a strong understanding of production processes and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks at the Hand Add Station, Bulk Station, Bagging Line and general warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized working area, ensuring daily clean-up of debris and dust, immediate disposal of foreign material, and equipment cleanliness.
- Be knowledgeable of equipment function, preventative maintenance, and operation, and assist with preventative maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and ensure that all production paperwork is legible and complete.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years of manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing food or animal feed preferred.
