JOB SUMMARY:
Operate digital x-ray examinations as ordered by the provider and any other duties as assigned by the provider.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operate digital x-ray examination as ordered by the provider.
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Ensure each room is properly cleaned and stocked.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned.
SHIFT REQUIREMENTS:
- Float to WMMC clinics and departments as needed (includes Higginsville).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Radiology Tech certificate from accredited school.
- Registry from the ARRT in Radiology required.
- Organizational Skills.
- Computer experience.
- Must work well under pressure.
- Ability to communicate well with people both in person and on phone.
- Effectively act as a liaison between patients and providers.
- Must adhere to HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Medical terminology.
- Typing skills.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work within the established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the hospital/clinic.
