We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant MA to join our team at Physician's Building 3 as a resource to the Pediatrics, Dermatology, and Family Medicine departments.
The Medical Assistant MA will :
- Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit
- Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs
- Assist during procedures
- Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations
- Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing
- Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications
- Participate in and support patient education
- Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions
- Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission
- Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care
