Description
The CSCT Behavior Specialist provides behavioral management and support services to eligible students with a serious emotional disturbance in the community, home and school-based settings. The Behavioral Specialist works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, team therapist and supports students with the development of age appropriate skills to ensure daily success and independence.
This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement between Western Montana Mental Health Center and the Missoula Federation of WMMHC-CSCT Employees.

Qualifications
Behavior Specialists have excellent verbal and written communication skills and comprehensive knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements. Behavior Specialists are also great at problem solving, de-escalation, and behavior management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited college with a degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field or equivalency.
- Two (2) years of related work experience
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass a background and motor vehicle record check upon an offer of employment
