Job Description:
We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our accounting team in our Irvine office. Applicants must be detail oriented, professional, and a team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and verifying financial data into our accounting system.
Responsibilities:
Accounts receivable – process customer premium payments
Journal entries
Assist the Accounting Manager
Remote bank deposits
Review and reconcile discrepancies within Accounts receivable.
Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
Process payment adjustments.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quick learner, and good at basic math.
Above-average knowledge of Excel, as well as experience with MS Office.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Education and Experience:
This position requires 3-5 years of Accounting experience, ideally with an Insurance, Finance or Servicing company.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required.
