Job Summary
To assist the Testing and Tutoring Services Director with general operation and maintenance of both the academic and certified testing centers. This position is full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director with communicating with a variety of third-party vendors.
- Maintain confidentiality in regard to client / student testing.
- Greet candidates and check them in for testing, which includes verifying their identification and following test security procedures as instructed by the testing vendor.
4. Supervise test administrations following established guidelines.
Maintain testing certifications for Prometric, PearsonVue, PSI, Kryterion and other required certifications as assigned.Maintain specialized testing certifications for TABE, CLEP, ATI, Accuplacer, and other required certifications as assigned.Maintain site security and security of testing documents.Maintain a clean and comfortable testing environment.Prepare and maintain required reports, records, and files.Assist students with accommodated testing.Assist with the retention and success of students by providing encouragement and support.Perform receptionist functions such as answering phones, answering questions, providing information, etc.Attend training sessions and workshops; stay abreast of new developments in the field of standardized testing.Perform other duties as assigned.Required and Preferred Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework or associate's degree is preferred.
Experience :
Preferred experience : One to two years of customer service-related experience; experience dealing with the public from a position of authority; strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate effectively; must be comfortable using computers and troubleshooting any issues, which may require contacting the vendor's technical support line.
Required : Pass Criminal background check and IRS background check, including fingerprinting.
