Pay Structure
- Base Salary: $60k-$85K
- Commision: $20- 50 per file closed (based on a tiered structure):
25-25 files/month= $20 per file
40-50 files/month= $30 per file
55 files/month= $50 per file
- Annual Bonus: Team= $1k-10k (and) Individual=$1k-5k
- Tenure Package= $1k raise each anniversary (up to 10 years)
- Recruitment Commission= $2k upon your candidates completion of the 90 probation period
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Position Title: Title Officer
- Must hold a current Nevada Title Agent License and reside in Nevada or within exactly 50 miles of the Nevada State Border (NRS 645A)
Experience Required
- 7 years title examiner or title search experience with at least 7 years examining and resolving title chain history
- 7 years' as a licensed title officer (or)
10 years as an assistant with a current title agent license
- Familiar with rural areas (farms, ranches, water rights)
- Familiar with ranches and farms that have been divided up over the years between family members
- Familiar with Lyon and/or Churchill County (not mandatory)

Essential Functions
- Performs title examination to examine the chain of title for a wide range of title orders, both residential and commercial
- Average monthly volume is 30-50 files
- Analyzes records, such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, plat and map books, and property surveys to determine ownership and legal restrictions and to verify legal description of property and completeness of records
- Analyzes the effect of probate, foreclosures, building court cases, and bankruptcy proceedings on title insurance. Examine trusts, wills, and affidavits of heirship.
- Uses technical bulletins and other resources to evaluate and resolve problems
- Review and approve a variety of documentation including deeds, operating agreements, trusts, wills, affidavits of heirships, corporate resolutions, partnership agreements, and state filed Articles of Incorporation and Articles of Organization
