Delivery Driver (part-time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting, possess strong organizational skills, and have a commitment to safety.

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs for tracking purposes.
• Assist in the warehouse with inventory management, including receiving, sorting, and organizing stock.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
• Introduce our weekly fresh produce price sheet to potential new customers

Skills

• Experience in commercial driving or as a courier/delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and moving logistics is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients during deliveries and sales opportunities
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with forklifts is beneficial for warehouse operations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
