Western has been a leading provider of environmental and hazardous waste management services in New England since 1975, supplying our customers with a variety of environmental services and petroleum recycling systems.
We are currently looking for a Transportation Secretary out of our Lincoln, RI office.
Duties:
- Welcome visitors to the establishment, determine the nature and purpose of their visit and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Greet customers on the telephone; screen, and forward calls, providing information and professionally taking messages. Enter in calls for pick-ups.
- Collect, sort distribute deliveries.
- Transmit information or documents to customers, using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
- File and maintain records.
- Create databases, Excel, and Word programs to suit current tasks.
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities, and checking source documents for accuracy
- Enters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on a keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
- Print, type, and prepare all documents for upcoming work.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Additional tasks as directed by management.
