What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at Western Omelette?
Western Omelette in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for one prep cook to join our 37 person strong team. We are located on 16 S. Walnut St.. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipes and prepare ready to cook items
- Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for Prepping food
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Rinse, peel, chop, grind, strain and slice meats and vegetables
- Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces
- Label stock and inventory all ingredients
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and listen to team members
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a Prep Cook a plus
