Western Oregon University is seeking a passionate and innovative Open Education Librarian to lead the charge in making learning more accessible and affordable for students. In this pivotal role, you’ll champion open educational resources (OER), promote affordable course materials, and collaborate with campus partners to develop strategies that ease the financial burden of textbooks. You’ll work closely with faculty to identify, create, and adopt OER materials and explore alternative textbook models, empowering students to succeed.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited school
- 1 or more years of experience supporting the adoption, adaptation, and/or creation of open educational resources
- 1 or more years of demonstrated experience coordinating projects and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, such as faculty, staff, and external individuals and organizations
- 3 or more years of experience using common productivity tools (Google suite, Zoom, MS Office, etc)
- 1 or more years of experience using basic accessibility checkers
