Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembler to join our team in assembling structural component frames for data centers. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills for cutting and measuring materials, mechanical aptitude for bolting and securing components, and the ability to read and interpret assembly drawings. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality control procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble structural frames and components according to assembly drawings and specifications.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, measure, and fit materials to precise dimensions.
- Secure components using bolting, fastening, and other mechanical techniques.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality control checklists.
- Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance assembly processes and productivity.
- Experience in carpentry, mechanical assembly, or a related trade.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and ability to complete documentation accurately.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials as needed.
- Previous experience assembling structural or industrial components.
