The Opportunity. We are a busy oral surgery practice in Washington, PA with a strong focus on exceeding our patients’ expectations. Working hours for this full-time position are Monday through Friday from 7:10am – 4:00pm ( and 2:30pm on Friday!).

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
· Provides complete support to surgeon throughout routine in-office surgical procedures, including extractions, placement of dental implants, and removal of pathological lesions.
· Participates in monitoring patient’s vital statistics, assistance with anesthesia/sedation and intravenous fluids during surgery.
· Reviews pre-op and post-op instructions with patients.
· Takes digital impressions and CBCT scans for dental implant cases.
· Reviews patient health history and updates practice management software.
· Acquires diagnostic x-rays.
· Prepares and breaks down surgical tray and operatory.
· Maintains control of surgical inventory and associated supplies.

Qualifications
Required Skills for this Role:

· Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
· Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate holder, required.
· ACLS and PALS certificate holder, preferred.
· Dental radiography certificate in the state of Pennsylvania, required.
· Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, preferred.
· Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination (DAANCE) Certification (Required, or willingness to complete within 18 months of employment).
