What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Investigation Technician position at Western Power?
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting technical investigation of network faults. To investigate, identify and resolve moderate to complex network issues associated with the LV and HV network, including power quality, electric shock investigations and conducting network switching operations.

Your Role in Action
- Take personal accountability for safety in the work environment and ensure safe work practices are followed and a safe work environment maintained.
- Plan for work in advance and adapt plan when resources are pulled away for other business priorities or system conditions change.
- Progress process improvement initiatives to achieve optimal service delivery and safety initiatives by identifying and evaluating opportunities for performance improvement.
- Conduct planned and unplanned LV and HV network switching including emergency fault response activities.
- Operate within defined business processes and policies and comply with all legal requirements.
- Take personal accountability for work performance and be open to other contributions. Work cooperatively within the team and across Western Power.
