This position will support the Marketing Department by developing, implementing, and supporting programs, plans, and strategies that maximize brand uniformity and presentation, increase market presence, and enhance the consumer/Agent experience. This will include advertising activities, digital creative services, marketing research, and business intelligence (BI).

The Marketing Specialist will edit, develop, and create content for various company communications, such as newsletters, sales publications, advertising, presentations, and social media posts. This position will ensure effective and uniform messaging across all platforms, including print, email, website, and social media and monitor data analytics and metrics to measure effectiveness.
The Marketing Specialist will work closely with internal committees, including the Outreach Committee, and designated department representatives, to gather information, photos, and stories that highlight our employees, volunteer events, and internal events to creatively and uniformly tell the WRG corporate culture story. This will require attendance at internal and external company-related events and activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain, update, and keep current Company Website
- Maintain, update, and keep current Agent and Customer portals
- Create and manage brochures and advertisements working with 3rd party vendors if necessary
- Utilize design software for innovative and modern advertisements, brochures, and social media content
- Utilize video editing software for innovative, informative, and personable social media content
- Expand social media presence across various social media platforms
- Create engaging text, image, and video content
- Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
- Stay up to date with changes and trends in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and followers
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Create and proof all social media materials to ensure accuracy prior to deployment
- Design and customization of social media channels
- Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
- Provide analytics and reporting to management on web traffic and improvement
- Attend company events for social media and website material
- Act as business lead on various initiatives around website, mobile app, and portals
- Manage and communicate with vendors as necessary
- Create presentations for Marketing Department and other departments as needed. Marketing Department presentation include, but not limited to: AAB, NAOH, District Meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or another related field preferred
3-5 years of Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or other similar experience preferred
Expertise in multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc and other up and coming social media channels
Experience managing messaging and content on a company website, preferred
In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Ability to create and deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
Excellent written communication skills with experience in writing social media content
Multitasking and analytical skills
Solid organizational skills
Proficient with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher
Proficient in Canva, iMovie, or other photo, video, and content editors
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suit, including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, PageMaker, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Adobe Professional
Project and Vendor Management experience preferred
Experience with HTML/Sitefinity preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The individual must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with customers, departmental and company personnel via telephone, fax, e-mail, one-on-one dialogue in a professional manner.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to interpret instructions furnished in written or oral format. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
