This position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of Company grounds as well as the receiving and distributing of work materials. Duties may include but are not limited to snow removal, lawn care, loading and unloading of materials and equipment, transportation of materials, equipment and other Company items and/or personnel, internal and external individual and departmental relocation, delivering of requested supplies, and providing timely assistance and solutions to employees and departmental requests.
This is a Seasonal position of 24 hours per week, mid May through the 1st week in August.

Salary Grade (4) 15.83 - 19.78 - 23.74
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform lawn care and grounds maintenance.
Maintain plants and shrubs by trimming and/or fertilizing.
Plant new plants as needed on Company grounds.
Loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
Transportation of materials, equipment, and other Company items and/or personnel.
Coordination of all internal and external individual and departmental relocations.
Delivering requested materials and supplies.
Providing timely assistance and solutions to employee and departmental requests.
Routine cleaning and maintenance of the fleet vehicles.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma preferred
Valid drivers’ license
Ability to work on multiple tasks and priorities
Prior grounds maintenance experience preferred
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively communicate with Company personnel and vendors in a professional manner.
REASONING ABILITY
Position requires the individual to apply common sense, understanding, reasoning and sound judgement to properly evaluate and analyze various situations. Individual should offer suggestions and improvements for all aspects of the area’s day-to-day operation and equipment.
